Carrie M. Andrews, Regional Staff Director for the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) will speak on The impact of the ruling on Janus vs. AFSCME on Teacher’s Unions

We’ll learn from Carrie Andrews and engage in discussion with her in our opening program for 2018-19. She is the Regional Staff Director for the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) in the Rochester Office. Ms. Andrews works with 134 local NYSUT affiliates and oversees the work of the Labor Relations Specialists and organizers in the office, according to her biography. A native of Trumansburg, NY, and a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, she also was elected for 10 years to the Monroe County Legislature. Ms. Andrews loves to travel and run.
