Our program will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. with a light lunch provided by host Eileen Hartmann at her home in Pittsford.  Rita Sherman will present at 12:15 p.m. and we’ll finish up around 1:00 p.m.

Former FAB member Rita Sherman had the chance to spend one year in Shanghai and travel around China and other parts of Asia. In addition, she also was able to see parts of China that tourists rarely see. Her husband, Mana, had to adjust to the fact that he lost Rita in every crowd because everywhere he looked he saw short Asian women with straight black hair, Rita style. This never happens in their new hometown of Corning! But from Rita’s perspective, being that short Asian woman with straight black hair should have allowed her to fit in, but that didn’t happen. Come and hear about Rita’s travels through her presentation photos and stories.
